AP Computer Science AB

This course is the equivalent of the first-year course in computer science at colleges and universities. It emphasizes object-oriented programming methodology as well as the study of algorithms, data structures, and abstraction. Students who score sufficiently high on the AP exam may be granted college credit from participating universities. This course is for students planning on majoring in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics or other technical fields.
