Banking & Finance Principles

This course allows students to explore a career in banking. You also gain knowledge about opening accounts, applying for loans, bank operations, and the Federal Reserve. It is the foundation course for all banking courses. All students may enroll: however, only students with an A or B average should take it in their sophomore year. Seniors are given the opportunity to work in a bank by applying to be an apprentice in the banking and finance apprenticeship program. Banking students are also expected to enroll in Computerized Accounting I.
