Computer Applications II


Students learn intermediate spreadsheet skills, including formatting numbers, formatting the look of your spreadsheet, using styles, and usingcommon functions, and producing technical graphs and charts.. They continue in word processing learning to use sections and headers and footers; print envelopes and labels; use tables; use columns; use graphic elements; use, create, and modify styles and templates, and do mail merges.  Projects include a report researched on the Internet  in both MLA and APA styles, a spreadsheet/graphing research project, a resume and letter of application, and creating a website. All students should take this class to have the computer skills needed to do well in their other classes.
