Newspaper

Newspaper students do the legwork of newspaper production: reporting, writing stories, designing pages, advertising, editing, proofreading, photography, and circulation. The members produce the school newspaper (The Bulldog Herald). The paper is produced using the best technology available. All work is done using computers and desktop publishing. It is a performance-based course. Students will learn the fundamentals of magazine production including layout and design using Macintosh computers. Class members will function as a staff for production of Prism, the literary magazine.
