Architectural Drafting and Design/CADD

This course is a natural follow-up to Drafting and Design/CAD since it uses the same skills, but broadens the application of various fields in industry. Architectural Drafting focuses on the knowledge and skills required to plan and prepare scaled pictorial interpretations of plans and design concepts for residential buildings. Emphasis is on the development of competencies related to solving drafting and design problems that require the individual to understand and apply a wide range of technical knowledge and critical thinking skills. The course allows students to produce CADD drawings and traditional “board” drawings.
