Several Springdale High students received the prestigious AP Scholar Award and AP Scholar with Distinction Award. In order to receive the National AP Scholar Award students had to complete 9 AP courses, pass all AP tests with an average score of 4.5, and get at least a 4 on all tests taken. To get the AP Scholar with Distinction Award students had to complete 6 AP courses and pass all AP tests with at least a 4. Both awards are highly prestigious and rigorous.
