Make-Up Work
2007-2008

Students are allowed to complete all work missed because of an absence, but will not receive credit for absences to truancy. It is the student's responsibility to initiate make-up on the day he/she returns to school. However, the nature of the work and the time limit for making up the work shall be determined by the teacher.

Generally, students will be granted one day to make-up work for every day of school missed. Students who are suspended from school will receive a maximum of 50% credit for all make-up work completed for the time they were suspended from school. The time frame for completing make-up work resulting from OSS will be left to the discretion of the administrator.

NOTE: In cases of absolute deadlines for projects, research papers, etc., the work is expected to be turned in on that date, even if the student is not in attendance. Students’ grades may be affected if the deadline is not met.
