The minimum and maximum penalties represent extremes on a continuum of corrective action plans, with other actions possible as deemed appropriate by teachers and school administrators. In addition, students and parents are advised of the following:

A. Due process will be used to protect student and parental rights as policies are implemented or enforced.

B. Students and parents may obtain additional clarification relative to prohibited      behavior, corrective actions, policies, student rights and responsibilities, etc.  by contacting school office personnel.  The recognized building level appeal order is   as follows:  1) Teacher               2) Assistant Principal                  3) Principal

Please do not contact central office administrators without first contacting building level administration.
