The concept of the Renaissance Program is built around the idea of recognizing academic excellence with rewards and incentives. The purpose is to provide positive incentives and rewards to students for making good grades and for improving their grades. Awards will also be given to students for increased attendance. The Renaissance Program is really a concept and an attitude. It ultimately is a comprehensive package of ideas that can be used to improve academic achievement, attendance, and overall staff commitment to make a positive impact on the community of students at Springdale High School. A formal assembly will be held each semester to recognize and reward students who qualify for this program.
