Debate I


Debate is for anyone interested in becoming a lawyer or any job involving communication with the public. Students in Debate I have the opportunity to compete in debate tournaments in the four-state area. Emphasis is on persuasive speaking and clear, logical, distinct speech. Students learn to research at the high school, at the University of Arkansas, and throughout the community.
