Art IV

Students showing high interest in creating quality art and a capability for independent work are recommended for Art IV. Personal expression is the focus, with students forming an idea or problem in which they will work in depth. In this way, students set goals that pertain to their own specific needs, or that provide for special projects. Each student keeps an art journal and develops a portfolio. In addition to scheduled class time, students should expect to work regularly outside of class in order to fulfill the higher expectations.
