AP United States Government and Politics and Comparative Politics


This class offers the opportunity to gain college credit through taking the AP exams. With this in mind, the material is covered in a manner that provides both factual and analytical development focusing toward success on the AP exams. The content areas are as follows: constitutional development, the executive, the legislative, the judicial, bureaucracy, political parties, pressure groups, and civil liberties. The comparative studies focuses on the governmental development of England, France, the former Soviet Union, and China, along with the US and Mexico.
