Pre-AP American History

A study of our historical heritage with emphasis on the Civil War to the present. This is an intermediate step from junior high in preparation for AP American History. Special focus is given to reading comprehension and effective essay writing. It also provides valuable introduction skills toward success on the AP American History exam and success in AP American History class or other AP courses. Fulfills the American History requirement for the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship.
