ASAP is a relatively new club at
SHS that is growing and constantly evolving with the help of
sponsor, Ms. Wilson. Ms. Wilson conceived the club as part "Student
Activism" and part "Global Issues Research". Students have:
- Club meetings to share ideas (along with
food, music, and film)
- SHS "International Music and Dance Festival"
- Sadako Project: folded 1000 paper cranes
(together with students in Ms. Wilson's art classes, students
have made 1000 Origami Cranes to send to the Children's Memorial
in the Peace Park in Hiroshima, Japan.
